…but promoting a game like Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventures is far from the most challenging task given the appeal of the everyone’s favourite yellow-horned purple dragon to youngins – putting babies in a wheelbarrow filled with fruit and veg on the other hand and then trying to get them to stay still for a photo, sorry memories of 2007 just came flooding back!

Aside from the aforementioned purple cartoon beast, this game comes with the rather funky Portal of Power, upon which one places various action figures that represent the different characters. As soon as you do this, you change to that character with all its unique powers and accrued experience, scores, etc even if you are playing on a friend’s console and even if that console is a different type to your own!
