Since Gatorade’s launch in New Zealand we have been tasked with managing the brand’s sporting partnerships and social presence. This involves all aspects of sponsorship management including contract negotiation, relationship management, promotional leverage event activations and operational support to ensure that teams are always equipped with the gear and product required to perform at their optimum. From Usain Bolt’s visit to Auckland in 2012 to handling the importing of official Gatorade equipment from the USA and organising hydration supplies for the All Blacks wherever they play in the world, no task is too big or small. Our role also sees us manage Gatorade’s local online store, Facebook page and website.

 

We were heavily involved in the brand’s activity around the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, from supplying every team with Gatorade chilly bins, drink bottles and towels to developing and managing integrated media campaigns and fulfilling prize requirements for a wide range of trade and in-store activation. 

Gatorade’s current portfolio of partners includes the All Blacks, the Vodafone Warriors, SKYCITY Breakers, Wellington Phoenix and the Black Sticks hockey teams. We also support, often in conjunction with Frucor’s sales team, numerous Mitre 10 rugby unions, several NBL basketball franchises and national bodies such as Baseball NZ, Basketball NZ and NZ Football to varying degrees.
