We were briefed to create a beer and cider garden, befitting the Somersby Cider & Boundary Road Brewery site at Laneway 2017, held in Aucklands iconic Albert Park. The objective was to create a positive, informative and memorable experience for all festival attendees. We achieved this by minimising typical pain points around queueing times and dirty bar areas, instead adding fun interactive elements to make it more than just a bar.

From building our own crate style furniture to the fairy lights and building projections, the site was a standout. Table tennis, giant jenga, and a corn hole throwing game gave visitors light hearted competition with their mates, and a reason to stay in the beer garden even when the best acts were playing somewhere off in the distance!
